What time is check in and check out?

Check in starts at 2 pm and ends at 8 pm. For  late or early check in you need to contact us on our mobile numbers or landline phone (Vittorio +393397607714; Enrico +393343941388; Historical residence: +39 0566904181). Check out must take place not over 10 am.

Are the prices per room or per person?

Prices are per room. It is possible to increase the number of people at an additional cost per person. The studio flat for single person has a reduction of 25% of the total amount.

Massa Marittima required the city tax?

Yes. The cost is € 1 for all the people over 14 years old and for a maximum of 7 days.

Is it possible to have breakfast or halfboard?

The Palazzo Malfatti residence does not provide any service for the administration of various kinds of food. However, upon arrival all our guests will find in the kitchen of the apartment a small gift from us which consists of some ingredients to make the Italian breakfast (tea, coffee, water, milk, fruit juice, cereals, croissants , rusks, biscuits, jams, nutella, honey, sugar, salt and pepper).

 Is parking available?

Palazzo Malfatti does not have private parking area. Close, however, there are numerous parking areas, for a fee (50 meters from the structure) and totally free of charge (200 meters from the structure). We remind you that Massa Marittima is a very quiet center and therefore it is absolutely safe to park your car in the parking lots in the center.

 How many floors does the building have and is there an elevator?

The building has three floors and there is no lift

What are the apartments equipped with?

All apartments are equipped with 40 “flat screen smart TV, fireplace, independent heating, electricity, hot and cold water, hair dryer, kitchen fully equipped, fridge, freezer and oven, linen, bathroom and kitchen, wardrobes, double sofa beds, coat hangers, drying racks, tables with chairs.

 Do the apartments have air conditioning?

The only two apartments with air conditioning are our two-room apartment and the deluxe two-person apartment. We remind you that given the thick walls of the building, the temperatures are always pleasant.

 Are there non-smoking apartments?

We remind you that all apartments are non-smoking. Inside the structure you will find two areas for smokers, one located near the main entrance, therefore on the ground floor, and the other on the top floor of the building.

 Is it possible to connect to the internet from the apartment?

All apartments are equipped with free WIFI and ultra fast 200 megabytes.

 Is there the possibility of using a hotel computer or cell phone charger?

Palazzo Malfatti offers its guests a dedicated computer and all the battery chargers for mobile phones of the most famous brands.

What languages ​​are spoken at the reception?

Italian, English, German, French, Spanish.

Are there daily cleaning of the apartments and linen change?

Daily cleaning is not provided and if you wish it constitutes an extra € 15 per day. The linen is changed for free every 5 days. The daily change of linen will be an extra.

 Are pets allowed?

Yes, pets are allowed up to a maximum of two for each apartment. There is an extra charge to be paid in the structure for final cleaning. In your absence, the aminals cannot be left alone in the apartments. There are also dedicated beaches and we will be happy to inform you about the closest ones.

 Are credit cards accepted?

All major credit cards are accepted, as well as apple pay, pay pal, google pay, samsung pay, nexi pay, bancomat.

 What are the main places of interest near the Residence?

Cathedral of San Cerbone, Palazzo dell’abbondanza and fresco of the fertility tree, Town Hall, Palazzo dei Priori and Archaeological Museum, Mine Museum, Museum of Sacred Art, Museum of mechanical organs, Torre del Candeliere, Il Cassero Senese, Il choistro of Sant’agostino.

Where are the essential services located?

The center of Massa Marittima boasts numerous restaurants and bars, pharmacies, newsagents, tobacconists, ATMs, petrol pumps, hospitals, laundrette.

Which are the nearest train, bus, taxi stations?

The railway station of Follonica; outside there are also stops for buses and taxis. In Massa Marittima, on the other hand, a rental with driver is available.

Is it possible to rent a car?

In Follonica there are two vehicle rental agencies: Europcar and Hertz. The Il Golfo agency, on the other hand, rents buses of all sizes.

 Is it possible to rent bicycles?

In the nearby center of Valpiana we collaborate with the Sumin rental center (www.suminluciano.com), which also rents electric bicycles.

How far are the beaches or the lake from the Residence?

The beaches are about 20 km from the residence while the Accesa lake is 8 km away.
